What Heldd keeps, and who can see it.
In force from 21 September 2026. Heldd is operated by Pickleball Dynamics LLC, Springville, Utah.
What Heldd is
Heldd holds conversations. You talk or type; Heldd asks questions, keeps what you said, and gathers it into a book of pages that you and the people you invite can read. This page says plainly what that involves.
What we keep
- Your account. Your mobile number, which is how you sign in, and an email address if you signed in that way. We never see or store a password for the phone sign-in; a one-time code is texted to you each time.
- Your conversations. Recordings you choose to send, their transcripts, and typed answers. A recording is kept on your device until you press Send; nothing is sent while you review it.
- What Heldd draws from them. Short notes of what was said (the sources), the pages written from those sources, and the questions Heldd asked.
- Invitations and guests. The name and topic on an invitation you create, and the fact that a guest accepted it. Guests do not create accounts.
- Texting preferences. Whether you agreed to occasional update texts, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and when.
- A receipt of what left. Heldd records when your material is sent to a service provider and for what, so you can inspect it.
How Heldd uses it
To ask you the next question, to write and revise pages, to show sources behind every page, and to let the people you invite read what you chose to share. Heldd uses AI models to do the asking and the writing. The models are run for us by Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic Claude models) under terms that do not allow them to train on your material.
Who can see it
- You, always, including every source behind every page.
- People you invite can read the pages in your book and their sources, except pages you hold back. Holding a page back also removes what it rests on from every other page a guest can read.
- Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or share your material with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to market to you.
Service providers
Your material is stored and processed on Amazon Web Services in the United States (Oregon). Text messages are sent through Telnyx. Each provider receives only what its job needs: a recording to transcribe, a transcript to question, a phone number to text.
Text messages
The forms, the wording you agree to, and every automatic reply are shown on the text messages page. Heldd texts you a sign-in code when you ask for one. If you agreed to updates, Heldd may text you occasionally about your book or a conversation you took part in; message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and Heldd sends no further texts of any kind, including sign-in codes, until you reply START; reply HELP for help. We never text anyone who did not give us their own number.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your material for as long as your book exists. Ask us to delete your account and everything in it, and we will, including recordings, transcripts, sources, and pages, within thirty days. Pages other people contributed to keep only what they said. Backups clear on their own schedule after that.
Your choices
- Review every recording before sending it, or type instead.
- Hold any page back from guests, or let guests see it again.
- Add a correction to any page in a new conversation.
- Stop update texts by replying STOP.
- Ask for a copy of your material, or for its deletion.
Children
Heldd is for adults. We do not knowingly keep material from anyone under 18.
